Your activity feed is a place for you to keep your friends and followers updated with news related to your projects or business.To navigate to your activity feed:

  • Click your avatar in the top right corner of the page
  • On the dropdown menu that appears, click “Activity”.

To post to an activity feed:

  • On the top of your activity feed of choice, enter text into text field in the bubble that reads “Post what’s new”.
  • Click “Enter” to submit your post.

To like/comment/delete an activity feed post:

  • Navigate to a post on an activity feed.
  • To like the post, cick the thumbs up icon.
  • To comment on the post, enter your comment in the text bubble that appears and click “Enter”.
  • To delete the post, click the trash icon.

On Havue, a Project post can be used as a hub for collaborating and/or to showcase the results of a home design, development or improvement project.To create a Project:

A Group is a forum for users to discuss a particular subject of interest to them.To create a Group:

  • Click “Groups” on the navigation bar.
  • Click “Create a Group”.
  • Fill out the fields and submit.

To edit a Group:

  • Click “Groups” on the navigation bar.
  • Select your Group from the list, or find it via the searchbar.
  • Click “Manage” in the Group navigation bar.
  • Edit the fields you would like to change and submit.

Document collaboration:

Havue chat offers users the ability to collaborate on documents in real time! To collaborate on official documents in a secure environment, do so in an invite only or password-protected group. To create a secure group:

  • Click on the chat tab on the bottom righthand side of the browser window or go to the Lounge.
  • Click on the writing pad icon on the top righthand side of the chat window.
  • Click “Create Group”. Select “invite-only” or “password-protected” group. (If invite only, you will have to invite the desired users. If password-protected, you will have to provide the desired users with the password.)

To create a collaborative document or drawing board:

  • In your chat group, click on the arrow to the left of the text input box.
  • Select “Share a Whiteboard” or “Collaborative Document” to draw or type collaboratively, respectively.
  • From the collaborative document editor, you can work on your new document together. In the editor, each user’s contributions will be highlighted with their assigned color by default. You can import a plain text document or create one from scratch. When you are satisfied, you can export your document as a plain text or HTML file. You can parse through revisions of the document and bookmark your favorite revisions for future reference.
  • Any collaborative document created in a group will remain active for as long as the group lasts, however, you should always export your documents before leaving the group just to be safe! Reimporting the document at a later time will not be a problem.
  • To import/export documents: Click the fifth button from the right side on the top of the document window.
  • To parse through revisions: Click the fourth button from the right side on the top of the document window.
  • To favorite a revision: Click the third button from the right side on the top of the document window.
  • To change the font or formatting: Click the second button from the right side on the top of the document window.
  • To edit user colors: Click the first button from the right side on the top of the document window.
  • To change the text styles and spacing: Use the buttons on the left side of the top of the document window.

Signing up as a VendorHaving a Vendor account gives you the ability to sell your products on the Havue marketplace. To sign up as a vendor, go to registration and select “Vendor”. Next, select the plan that you would like to use.After signing up, check out the Vendor Dashboard. Navigate to:

  • Store Settings / Storefront to design your store and put down basic information, such as name, location and timezone.
  • Store Settings / Policies to outline your store policies, such as return policy, etc.
  • Store Settings / Billing to establish a payment method.
  • Store Settings / Shipping to establish shipping fees.

Adding and editing products:

  • To add products, navigate to Product Manager / Add Products. Fill out the desired fields and submit your product.
  • For a complete listing of your products, navigate to Product Manager / All Products.
  • To add coupons and special deals, navigate to Coupons. Fill out the desired fields and submit your coupon.

Clicking on:

  • Orders shows orders that have been placed for your products by customers.
  • Stats / Reports shows analytics regarding your sales and attention you are getting from customers.
  • Payments shows your transaction history.

To market your products and services:

  • Click on your user icon to open the dropdown menu in the header, click on “My Social Profile”
  • From your social profile, click “My Stories” on your account navigation bar
  • Click “Add New”
  • Compose your story/blog post and share it
  • Stories/blog posts are searchable and can be a way to attract attention to your business

Tip: Maintaining an active blog presence will increase your chances of transacting with customers

To take user service requests:

  • Click “Groups” in the navigation bar
  • Enter keywords relating to the kind of group you would like to find in the searchbar and click “Search”
  • Scroll through the “Home” page (activity feed) of the group, looking for service requests you’d be comfortable taking
  • Reply and wait until the customer responds to your offer

Tip: Maintaining an active presence in groups relating to the goods or services you provide will increase your chances of transacting with customers.

How to sign up as Real Estate Agent:

  • Click on “Register” button on the homepage
  • Click on “Real Estate Agent Signup”
  • Fill out “Registration” form and click “Sign Up” at the bottom of the page.
  • You will need to wait for Approval from the Havue Team. During the approval stage we will contact you with the information you have provided. We will need to run a background check, This is to protect yourself and users to make sure no fraudulent crime is being committed.

How to use Havue for Real Estate Agents

To list your properties:

  • Click on your user icon to open the dropdown menu in the header, click “Add New Property”
  • Fill in and mark the fields describing your property
  • Mark your property on the map
  • Click “Create Property” at the bottom of the page
  • Click on your user icon to open the dropdown menu in the header, click “Add New Properties”
  • Manage your catalog of properties from this page
